Oh my goodness this place is HEAVEN!! We were overwhelmed (in a good way) by the plethora of choices. We tried five different baklava types and each one was incredible. The loose leaf mint tea is fragrant and my friend said her latte was great too. Staff was so lovely, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
There is free street parking right in front of this place! This place is HEAVEN!!! We loved the friendly staff and the AMAZING treats!! The atmosphere and decorations of this place just make you feel as if you’ve traveled to a different part of the world! The staff was really engaged in our conversation and helped us get whatever we wanted! He even offered us a sample when he found out that it was our first visit there! Every single dessert we had was beautiful like a piece of art and delicious too! For the cake you pay around 8$ for one slice and the baklava is priced by the pound. The owner takes the business serious, they make all the products there with high quality ingredients! We were there around 7:30 pm and most of the gelato was gone???? We will make sure to visit again at an earlier time to try out some gelato too!!
Great spot! Highly recommend this cafe! The coffee is great quality with unique flavors. The desserts are the perfect amount of sweet. My favorite dessert was the tres leches cake with cranberry sauce. Very rich in flavor and perfect texture. I enjoyed this place very much. Perfect for coffee dates and a great place to just enjoy a great cup of coffee and some delicious desserts!
On my way home from my Christmas vacation in Tijuana, I was looking for a coffee joint to refuel on energy. I came across this coffee shop and it did not disappoint. The lovely barista recommended me a Turkish coffee, which I have never tried before, and I must say I was blown away by the rich and robust flavor of the coffee. Its my new favorite way of drinking coffee. I was also lucky enough to try the homemade pistachio croissant that was fresh out the kitchen. It was warm and soft in the inside and crisp on the outside. On my way out I couldn't resist leaving without a tray of baklava home to impress my in laws who were visiting for winter vacation. I definitely plan on returning to Sultan Baklava every time I head down to Tijuana.
This place is your sweet heaven! Everything you can imagine from Arabic sweets, cakes, ice cream, sweet pastries to drinks(coffee cold a hot, tea, greasy orange juice) are in one place … We loved everything we ordered. The customer service is A+. Very clean and beautifully decorated ❤️ Will be coming back with friends and family … Thank you for making our day ????
