I've been visiting the Yogurt Mill for more than 40 years. It's still the best frozen yogurt in whichI've ever indulged. Whether you're a tourist or a local, it's worth the trip to check out this vintage icon of San Diego County.
I was afraid to try cause my experience at another shop with a very high rating was not pleasant. But this place exceeded my expectations! Really this is the most amazing place to get tasty frozen yogurt. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity, however they accpet cash only. We tried chocolate, raseberry lemonade and strawberry. It is a very nice choice for hot days.
Wow. The servings here are really gracious. Not only are the portions size large, they tap the bottom so the yogurt settles and then put more in. I first ordered the baby size ($4.75), because that size was good enough. Vanilla and the fudge topping was included in that cost. (Cash only here). The second order was large ($10.50) for the family and I got Pistachio and coconut. Hubby and I enjoyed small serving. There's plenty for the whole fam.
Staff was super friendly. I would go back simply for that. Desert was yummy, but I can’t say it was 5 stars for me. I wish they had more dairy free options. If they do that I’ll gladly update my review to 5 stars. Regardless, still check them out, you won’t regret it.
Definitely an old fashioned ice cream joint. The variety and flavors, so many to choose from including non-dairy options. I tried coconut and chocolate. Good quality and servings are more than enough. Long line but moves quickly. Parking out front can be a hassle but definitely worth the small troubles and wait. Cash only. Not a biggie.
