Have always gone to the nearest dry cleaning regardless of the results until my neighbor told me about Mart Cleaners. It’s family owned with old school technology. The service is incredible and the clothes come out like you just bought it from the department store. I’ve been coming here for the past 2 years so I waited to test their service hence why the 5 stars.
I've been bringing dress shirts and pants to Mart Cleaners for years, and always received great service. In the last 18 months something has changed. Different people behind the counter. Twice, during the worst time of Covid, I find the staff proudly UNMASKED, and happy to declare it. In my last visit they tried to charge me DOUBLE PRICE for the same clothes I have always brought to them. The woman claimed that all my shirts were "extra dirty" and so they had to launder them twice. But that is preposterous! Because of Covid, those clothes were worn only inside my house, as I was working remotely, online. Those shirts were more likely LESS soiled than usual. To try to charge me double, with no warning ahead of time is just not right. It seems so dishonest. I'm looking for a new cleaner now.
I am basically a new customer, and I know that they have been there for many years, just that tells you that they're good and reliable. There dry cleaning is first class, they will keep the garment till is perfectly clean, and, get this, I have bad sciatica in my back, so I cannot lift too much..well, they do it for me, they take the clothes to my car very considerate business, care about their community.
I have an easy rider style suade jacket with fringe from my dad, he is from the south and had left the jacket in his childhood home garage for about 30 years, but my god you wouldn't know it after mart got done with it. It doesnt even smell anymore, not sure how they pulled it off but these guys are the real deal.
