Went to Applebees on Jamacha last night with my friend for her birthday. Our server was really great and took good care of us. The food was good but our entrees didn't look anything like the pictures on their menu. Kind of disappointed, but none the less tasty. See pics.
So look, if you've been to Applebee's you know what you're getting; they're mostly the same. Where this location stands out is in their costumer service. I've never had a waiter/waitress who wasn't excellent, and their curbside pickup team is above and beyond. My orders are always obnoxious (changes, extra sauces, packed a certain way, etc. They've always served me with a smile and gone WAY above and beyond on multiple occasions. I'm not going to be specific because then my review might be used as a weapon against them (you did it for this guy, do it for me!), but I can't recommend them enough. Their entire staff is great and the restaurant is always spotless. I could just go on and on but this would just start sounding fake. One last example of how great this Applebee's is? I'm not really a streak guy, but I fell in love with their Bourbon Street steak; it's just that damn good. Just eat there, you won't regret it.
Good meal. Sat at the bar to avoid the wait for a table. Bartender, Evangelina, was very nice. Recognized that one of our meals wasn't cooked correctly and took care of it without being asked. Will definitely be back! I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken sandwich. Definitely recommend it.
