Frankly, I do not understand why Brow Spa has four stars on Google reviews. Their Yelp reviews accurately illustrate their quality and service, which is abysmal. I visited Parkway Plaza with Aunt who lives in the area, and while I was at the mall, I saw Brow Spa! I've been meaning to get my eyebrows done for a while. Usually, I go to Brazilia Skin Care at UTC Westfield near my current place and they've done a wonderful job for roughly $4 more but it's great. However, I was here and decided to get my eyebrows done here—a mistake! Everyone, please learn from this and research the spa on Yelp before you impulsively go in. I'm not quite sure who threaded my eyebrows today but she was quite rough. My eyebrows and the surrounding skin was noticeably swollen. She also cut skin surrounding my eyebrows with thread as well. I know "beauty is pain" but if the lady who threaded my eyebrows was a bit slower, I think I wouldn't had been so swollen and cut up. More importantly, my eyebrows look like sisters, not twins! One eyebrow is thinner than the other, and while this might be subtle, I'm NOT okay with this. I don't look bad but I feel insecure about how thin they turned out, and the fact they aren't symmetrical! I'm just hoping my eyebrows grow back faster, and no one notices. I’m going to a trusted threading lady in hopes she can salvage my eyebrows. TDLR: do NOT go here! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!
Worst place to do your eyebrows ever! The lady didn’t listen to my needs and wants she just did what she know and she made me look like a Maleficent. She was so horrible and kept asking me personal questions instead of asking me what I wanted. She also kept saying “trust me” I know what you want but she really didn’t. I left the store crying and I’ve been trying to grow my eyebrows for years and shape them in a certain way but she just butchered me and took so much hair out when she could simply ask informative questions to avoid making such mistakes. She also told me “where did I live” indicating the thick eye brows aren’t in style and I am old style. So basically she just decided to give me thin eyebrows on my behalf!!! Absolutely horrible service.
The first times was ok was decent and the lady didn’t listen to what I wanted but she did ok, the second time I came it was out of convince because I was already at the mall and the lady took no more than 2 minutes, didn’t even touch the sides of my eyebrows, quickly went to charge me and didn’t even offer me a mirror to see my eyebrows. When I went to my car to see it wasn’t clean I still had a lot of hair at the bottom of my brow and so I went back to ask if it could be cleaned up and she told me next time it’s extra, this time it was just a minute???? now I have really uneven eyebrows never coming here again.
I get my eyebrows threaded here and Everytime I go they’re perfect! Very good service and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I specifically told the lady not to make my eyebrows too thin because I was already trying to grow out my hairs for thick looking eyebrows and it took me months to grow them out, and the first thing she did was make my eyebrows look like French fries from smash burger! And on top of that they were super un even. Sucks never going there again. Thanks for nothing.
